North-south seismic line across south flank of Bay Marchand Field (South Timbalier Block 26) shows strong seismic event at 3.0 seconds (on the north end of the line) with several hundred milliseconds of relief (about 2500 feet). The exploration well drilled in 1968 had 100 net feet oil that corresponded to the amplitude anomaly.
